Get Involved

Contributing positively to the lives of vulnerable people living in our community can be hugely satisfying. We welcome any willing volunteers, particularly groups of people. Here are some examples of how other people are getting involved in the Servants journey. Have a read!

If you’d like to get involved in bringing respect, dignity and hope to marginalised people, fill in the form below.

Get a group of friends together, don some gloves and arm yourselves with Jiff, Windex and Ajax! Tackling bathrooms, kitchens, hallways or loungerooms together eases the Managers’ load tremendously and serves our residents directly. We promise it’s more fun together!

Working bees

Are you a handy-person? Do you know people who are? There are always bigger projects that can be tackled when a group of people volunteer a Saturday morning, for example, to wash those hard-to-reach windows, set up a garden bed or doing tip runs.

Who doesn’t love a chat around the barbie? Saturday evenings are a perfect opportunity to connect with our residents whilst turning snags and prepping salads. BBQs are hosted by community groups on a monthly basis.

Professional services

Maybe you have skills in a particular area and would be happy to offer your services to a group of residents? It may be a workshop (like the cooking class run by OzHarvest) or a service (like the haircuts given by the Streets Barber). We are open to suggestions!

You can also choose to support us financially here. Donations are tax-deductible for Australian residents.
